Diclazepam known also as Chlorodiazepam is a synthetic benzodiazepine. It has similar effects as diazepam including hypnotic, anxiety suppression, muscle relaxing and disinhibition. Currently not approved for use as a medication, but rather sold as an unscheduled substance. Efficacy and safety have not been tested in humans. In animal models, its effects are similar to diazepam, possessing long-acting anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, and amnestic properties.

Early tests on Diclazepam show that these pellets might be a good replacement for etizolam. This concerns researchers who, for whatever reason, are unable to continue their research using etizolam. Also, tests show that just a single milligram of diclazepam is just as potent as 10 milligrams of diazepam. As such, researchers should keep this in mind as they are measuring out their initial test dosages.
